Game 3 Canucks vs Chicago Blackhawk pics

With the Canucks and Oilers about to battle it out starting tonight
it's a good time to reflect back on the birth of White Towel Fever.
I was lucky enough to attend Game 3 in 1982 versus Chicago Blackhawks when White Towel Fever was born.
It was an insane game to be at. My buddies and I were caught off guard how crazy and loud the arena was, and we'd seen some big rock concerts.
The white towels waving for the first time was something to behold. We had great seats just inside the blue line about 10 rows up by the Chicago bench. Canucks won by a goal and the tension was so thick the entire game.
I managed to take some half decent photos through the glass, so hope you enjoy. Unfortunately all my towel waving shots were blurred.
Looking forward to another exciting series with more offense than against Nashville. Go Canucks go !!
