Dylan in his prime - my mixed feelings review.

Seeing Bob Dylan in 78 was a real thrill, but also a bit of a let down, as he performed some of his biggest hits in far from the original styles. I know every musician changes things up live, but some songs were unrecognizable.
There were some really great versions and the crowd was totally into it.
Forever Young was a real uplifting moment near the end of the show. He went born again after this tour and lost a lot of fans going in this new direction.
I saw him about 10 years ago and have to say he had even gone
worse as far as doing all his hits in unrecognizable versions.
I still love his studio albums and my top 3 are Blood on the Tracks, Nashville Skyline and Desire. There a couple of others in the top 5 I can still debate about.
The documentaries with The Band are some of the best music flics I've seen and are a must watch. Band of Brothers in case you missed the title.
